Does it cost anything to purchase on HangarSwap?

No, it is free to buy on HangarSwap.

How can I pay for an item?

You can checkout with your debit or credit card and PayPal.

What if I have a question about an item?

You can ask the seller a question by clicking on the ? box or commenting below the product.

The item I am interested in is very large and probably needs to be shipped freight or picked up. Do I contact the seller regarding this?

Yes, you would send a question to the seller asking for a shipping quote. If you have further questions that you would like to speak with a HangarSwap representative, please email us at help@hangarswap.com or call the Hangar Swap line at 407-349-9790.

I purchased an item and have an issue with it. What do I do?

You have two options in this case. One option is to try to come to an agreement with the buyer. Make sure you have read the seller's return policy prior to making a purchase. If you and the seller cannot come to an agreement, you will need to open a case on Paypal. It is solely up to the buyer and seller to communicate regarding an issue with an item.

I submitted a "Best Offer" and changed my mind. What do I do now?

You must contact the seller and communicate your situation. It is up to the buyer and seller to communicate and come to an agreement to retract the offer. In most cases, sellers will understand the situation.

I searched HangarSwap for a part and don't see it available for sale. Do I have any other options to find the part I need?

Yes! You can submit a parts request via the Parts Radar. Just click the "Parts Radar" button at the top of the page and submit your request. Sellers who are part of the Parts Radar system can see your request on the Parts Radar database and can contact you back regarding their availability.

What are the search results below all the live items for sale?

Those are the items of sellers who participate in the Parts Radar System. You can click the items you would like to receive a price and more information about by submitting a RFQ (request for quotation.) The seller will contact you back regarding price and availability.

What is the Services section?

The Services & Opportunities section is where the community can search for or advertise their services, advertise or search for opportunities, and connect. Each ad runs for 30 days, unless recurring ad is chosen. Each ad is $.99. Please visit the section for more information.

What is the Wanted section?

The Wanted section is where the community can connect with sellers with what they're searching for. Each ad runs for 30 days, unless recurring ad is chosen. Each ad is $.99. Please visit the section for more information.

What is the Parts Radar?

The Parts Radar is a system set in place to help buyers find the parts they need and for sellers to move more inventory.

Sellers upload their inventory and when you search for an item on HangarSwap, the Parts Radar also searches all the seller's inventory. You will see all the active products for sale and below the active search results you will see all the sellers who have that part in their inventory.

You can also submit a Parts Radar request by clicking on the Parts Radar button at the top of your screen. Sellers can search the Parts Radar database and contact you regarding your request.
